All the Memphis Grizzlies needed to see was 15 minutes.

That's all the run that JaMychael Green has received over the course of two 10-day contracts, but between that time, an impressive D-League stint earlier in the year and whatever he's been able to show in practice, the Grizzlies have been impressed.

With Green's second 10-day contract coming to a close, the Grizzlies have reportedly signed the power forward for the remainder of the season, with a partially guaranteed, two-year, $1.6 million extension attached, according to Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears.

The three-year deal was first reported earlier on Monday by Shams Charania of RealGM.

The deal will guarantee Green's salary for the remainder of the season, with next season likely including a partial guarantee and 2016-17 being non-guaranteed, according to Chris Herrington of the Memphis Commercial Appeal. That's a pretty standard structure for such a deal. It gives Memphis a low-cost flier on the player and a deal that's mostly non-guaranteed with which to use for salary matching over the next two offseasons. It also provides Green with a modicum of security.

Green went undrafted in 2012 after four seasons at Alabama, after which he spent a year in the D-League and a year playing in France. The 6-foot-8 combo-forward returned stateside this year for another D-League spin, making the All-Star Game and landing a call-up with the San Antonio Spurs and, later, the Grizzlies.

In eight games between the two teams, Green has scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 40 minutes, shooting 7-of-12 from the floor. In 20 D-League games, he had averaged 23 points and 10.7 rebounds, shooting 57.9 percent.
