NBA Game Summary - San Antonio at Sacramento

Sacramento, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker both broke out of slumps as the San Antonio Spurs snapped a four-game skid with a 107-96 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Friday.

The Spurs needed a late push to knock off a Kings team that was without All- Star forward DeMarcus Cousins and starting point guard Darren Collison.

They received 17 points from Leonard - his highest point total in three weeks -- and 19 from Parker, who scored just nine over his previous three games. Manu Ginobili chipped in with 16 points off the bench for the Spurs, who improved to 3-5 on their nine-game road trip.

"It starts with your head. When you're in a little shooting slump and the whole team is not playing well, it's easy to have low energy," Parker said of the recent losing streak.

Ben McLemore led the Kings with 21 points, Ray McCallum added 20 and Rudy Gay had 16 in defeat.

Sacramento, which was coming off a surprising win over the Grizzlies, led by as many as 10 in the first quarter after a 16-2 run gave them a 20-10 cushion just over six minutes in.

San Antonio chipped away at the deficit and went back in front before halftime, which ended with the Spurs holding a slim 49-46 advantage.

The Spurs never trailed in the second half but also never led by more than six until Parker scooped in a layup for a 93-86 lead with under six minutes left.

After McCallum answered with a jumper, the Spurs scored the next seven points to pull away for good. Parker hit a mid-range jumper, and Ginobili drained a 3-pointer and two free throws for a 12-point lead that only got bigger from there.

"Offensively, we didn't complete plays," Kings coach George Karl said. "In general, I thought how we played will be very good."
