The Golden State Warriors have elected to rest Andre Iguodala on the second night of a tough back-to-back on the road versus the Toronto Raptors, the team announced

Head coach Steve Kerr mentioned Thursday, ahead of an 11-point loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, that he intended to give Iguodala and teammate Andrew Bogut a breather over the team's current stretch.

The Warriors are in the midst of a six-game road trip, which concludes Monday against the Brooklyn Nets

Golden State has gone 1-2 on the trip and meets a Raptors squad that beat it by 21 points when the two teams met in January.

Iguodala has enjoyed his most productive month of the season in February. The veteran wing is averaging 10.3 points on 51.3 percent shooting from the field and four rebounds in 10 games.

He's come off the bench in all 53 contests he's played this season, averaging a career-low 7.5 points in 27 minutes per game.
