James (back soreness) will not play Friday against the Pacers, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Analysis:

James reeled off a season-high 42 points Thursday against the Warriors, but apparently emerged from that dominate performance with soreness in his back. While James will sit out Friday's contest in Indiana, his ailment is considered fairly minor and probably won't keep him out beyond one game. With James and teammate Kyrie Irving (shoulder) both sidelined Friday, Kevin Love figures to assume the bulk of the Cavaliers' scoring duties against the Pacers.
