Irving (shoulder) has suffered a right shoulder strain and will consequently miss Friday night's game against the Pacers.

Analysis:

Irving injured his shoulder during the third quarter of Thursday's game against the Warriors and despite later returning to the action, Irving still underwent an MRI on Friday to reveal the extent of his ailment. Fortunately, testing confirmed Irving only suffered a right shoulder strain, which is not considered a serious injury. While he'll miss Friday's contest in Indiana, Irving is scheduled to be re-evaluated prior to Sunday's outing against the Rockets, when his status is expected to be updated next.
