Knicks' Calderon tweaks Achilles in loss to Celtics

Brad Penner / USA TODAY Sports

The New York Knicks may have lost more than just a game Wednesday night.

On the way to getting blown out 115-94 by the Boston Celtics, the Knicks saw starting point guard Jose Calderon suffer a left Achilles injury, leaving the game with about six minutes remaining. He did not return.

Calderon said after the game that he'd tweaked the Achilles, and that it has been bothering him for some time.

He finished with five points on 1-of-7 shooting as the Knicks fell for the eighth straight time.
