NBA Game Summary - Miami at Orlando

Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Luol Deng had 21 points and seven rebounds as the Miami Heat defeated the Orlando Magic 93-90 in overtime on Wednesday night.

Miami closed regulation on a 10-2 run to erase an eight-point deficit with less than a minute remaining. Henry Walker sandwiched a pair of 3-pointers around a free throw from Orlando's Victor Oladipo, the last one a deep left wing triple with 2.1 seconds on the clock to send the game to overtime.

"At the end I just wanted to come through on my end of the deal. I have faith in my shot," Walker said.

With the Heat leading 89-88, Dwyane Wade missed a straightaway 3 with 28 seconds to go in overtime, but Nikola Vucevic was stripped in the paint at the other end and Wade made two foul shots for a 91-88 Miami cushion with 16.6 seconds left.

Vucevic's spinning left-handed layup again whittled the deficit to a point before Goran Dragic sunk two bonus shots to extend the margin to 93-90 with 7.7 seconds on the clock.

Oladipo's 3 at the horn was off the mark.

Wade finished with 18 points, six assists and three steals and Hassan Whiteside supplied 15 points and 13 boards for Miami, which has won four of its last six games.

Vucevic posted 26 points and eight boards, Oladipo provided 13 points and 13 rebounds and Tobias Harris added 12 points and eight rebounds for the Magic, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.

"We just have to do a better job of closing out games," Orlando guard Willie Green said.

The game was tied 17-17 following a quarter of play, but the Magic netted the first 10 points of the second to create some distance. Green's layup and 3-pointer preceded a Ben Gordon layup, which capped the surge and staked Orlando to a 27-17 advantage less than three minutes into the frame.

Miami, however, answered with a 13-2 swing to go back in front, with a pair of Whiteside free throws concluding it for a 30-29 edge at the 4:59 mark of the frame.

Vucevic's layup in the waning seconds of the half gave Orlando a 40-36 spread at the break and its margin reached 51-42 midway through the third following an Elfrid Payton layup.

The Heat, though, closed the third on an 11-3 burst to knot the contest going into the fourth. Deng's backdoor layup late in the period squared the game up at 61-61.

After Dragic's layup cut the Miami deficit to 75-74, Oladipo hit a pair of free throws, Harris added two more and Willie Green put back his own miss to make it 81-74 with 47.7 seconds remaining in the fourth.
