Holiday (leg) is wearing a walking boot and will be re-evaluated again in two weeks, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Analysis:

Holiday continues to nurse a stress reaction injury in his lower right leg. It's the same area that caused him to miss much of last season with a stress fracture in his right tibia. "This is completely different," Holiday said after Wednesday's shootaround. "Difference is that I had a crack in my shin last year, I don't have a crack now. I've got to two weeks in this boot to see how it goes." Holiday remains without a firm timetable, but he'll miss at least another two weeks and probably more, considering he'll have to work his way back into game shape once the stress reaction heals. In the meantime, the Pelicans will continue to rely on Tyreke Evans and recently acquired Norris Cole to handle point guard duties.
