Memphis Grizzlies (41-14) at Sacramento Kings (19-35), 10 p.m. (ET)

(SportsNetwork.com) - The Memphis Grizzlies will try for a winning record as their four-game road trip comes to an end Wednesday at Sleep Train Arena versus the Sacramento Kings.

After getting crushed in Oklahoma City just before the All-Star break, Memphis has taken down two playoff-bound squads in the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers.

On Monday, the Grizzlies pulled out a 90-87 victory over the Clippers. Memphis has held six of its last seven opponents under 93 points with the only blip the 105 points allowed to the Thunder.

Mike Conley had 18 points and seven assists to lead the Grizz. Jeff Green posted 16 points and six rebounds and Marc Gasol added 14 points, six boards and three blocks for the Grizzlies, who have won four of their last five games.

"We were sluggish in the beginning, but we did a better job in the second half," Memphis coach Dave Joerger said.

The Grizzlies nearly squandered an eight-point lead with 2:28 to play, but the Clippers cut it to one less than 90 seconds later. Chris Paul turned it over with under 10 seconds left and Conley made a pair of free throws for the final margin of victory.

The Kings are 1-1 under new head coach George Karl. They opened the post-break slate with a home win over the Boston Celtics, then got thumped by the Clippers, 126-99, Saturday.

DeMarcus Cousins posted 21 points and Rudy Gay supplied 15 points and six boards for the Kings, who have dropped six of their last eight games.

Omri Casspi had a big night with 11 points and 17 rebounds, while Ray McCallum, starting for the injured Darren Collison, chipped in 10 points and five assists.

"Bad offense turns into bad defense," Karl said. "We got frustrated."

The Clippers trailed 29-24 following a quarter of play, but seized complete control of the contest after outscoring Sacramento 42-18 in the second. The Clippers led 97-65 after three and cruised to the easy win in the fourth.

The Kings shot just 34.1 percent from the field and 25 percent from long range. They committed 17 turnovers, which turned into 28 Clippers points and their bench was outscored, 68-44. In fact, LA's Jamal Crawford and Austin Rivers outscored the Kings' second unit, 51-44.

The Kings begin a three-game homestand Wednesday and things don't get much easier following Memphis' visit. The San Antonio Spurs and Trail Blazers stop by Sleep Train Arena.

The Grizzlies have won nine straight versus the Kings and five in a row in Sacramento.
