VIDEOS: Andrew Wiggins showcases brilliant 2-way play in loss to Rockets

Thomas B. Shea / USA TODAY Sports

Every game these days, it seems like Minnesota Timberwolves rookie shooting guard Andrew Wiggins offers up another handful of eye-popping plays that read like portents of the superstardom that lies in his (likely very near) future.

On Monday night against the Houston Rockets and consensus MVP frontrunner James Harden, Wiggins rose to the occasion in a huge way, putting together one of his best games of the season in a respectably close defeat.

Wiggins went for 30 points on 12-of-24 shooting, and even though Harden dropped 31 and notched a triple-double, Wiggins helped hold him to 7-of-20 from the field, and more than held his own in their head-to-head matchup.

And this time Andrew Wiggins counters off a two dribble step back. This is filthy stuff for a rookie...

Or, if you have the time, Exhibits A through Z all in one place:

Yeah, he's pretty good.
