Jimmy Butler did a little bit of everything in Monday's victory over the Milwaukee Bucks

In what was a potential first-round playoff preview, Butler helped the Chicago Bulls dismantle the Bucks with a convincing 87-71 win. The 71 points mark the fewest the Bulls have held an opponent to this season.

Chicago and Milwaukee would meet in the first round if the season ended today as the third and sixth seeds, respectively. And the Bulls would likely welcome the matchup regardless of the Bucks' conference-best defense.

The Bulls have won all three meetings between the two teams and held Milwaukee under 90 points in each outing.

Butler had 11 points, nine rebounds, four assists and a pair of blocks to power the Bulls to their second consecutive win and sixth in their last seven contests.

The first-time All-Star also threw down a monster putback jam to clean up Aaron Brooks' missed layup attempt.

Nikola Mirotic added 16 points and 14 rebounds off the bench, while Pau Gasol recorded his league-best 37th double-double with a 15-and-10 effort.

The streaky Bulls moved a game ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Central Division and are 1.5 back of the Toronto Raptors for second place in the East.
