Richardson (knee) will not play Monday against the Heat, Dei Lynam of CSN reports.

Analysis:

The veteran returned to the court Friday after missing more than two years after various surgeries, finishing with seven points and seven rebounds in 18 minutes. He played 24 minutes in Sunday's loss to Orlando, and he'll be held out Monday on the second game of a back-to-back. The team's medical staff will continue to monitor Richardson's knees closely, and he's not likely to be a reliable fantasy contributor unless he proves capable of handling a consistent minutes load. In his absence Monday, JaKarr Sampson or Hollis Thompson will likely slot in alongside Isaiah Canaan in the backcourt.
