Arron Afflalo: Traded To Portland

Afflalo was traded to the Trail Blazers on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

Alonzo Gee will join Afflalo in Portland, as the Blazers send Will Barton, Thomas Robinson, Victor Claver and a future lottery-protected first-round pick, as well as a second-round pick, to Denver. Afflalo has started all 53 games in which he's played this season, but he projects to move to the bench in Portland with Wesley Matthews entrenched as the starting shooting guard. As a result, Afflalo's numbers should see a mild decline in the final third of the regular season.
