Anthony (knee) intends to take the court during Sunday's All-Star game, ESPN New York reports.

Analysis:

Anthony has endured discomfort in his left knee since early December, and season-ending surgery is all but assured at some point after the break. No matter, he continued to gut out the injury after a six-game absence to begin January, logging at least 32 minutes in eight of 10 appearances in the interim. Three DNPs have been interspersed throughout that span of games, but since he's expected to take his spot in the East's starting five Sunday in front of his hometown crowd, it shouldn't surprise of coach Mike Budenholzer affords Anthony significant run in what will likely be his final outing of the current campaign.
