VIDEO: John Wall tops Steph Curry in 'Battle of Game Changers'

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

John Wall topped Steph Curry in a contest that came down to Curry's patented Steph-back jumper.

In a shocking upset, Wall won the "Battle of the Game Changers" at All-Star practice Saturday, defeating Curry in a shot-for-shot battle similar to H-O-R-S-E. The competition, a promotion by the Degree deodorant brand, isn't an official part of the weekend's festivities, and it didn't lend much credence to the idea that the twice-retired H-O-R-S-E competition is something that's missing from All-Star Saturday Night.

But hey, there was no harm, and at least one actor seemed to enjoy himself.

It doesn't get any more New York than Michael Rapaport yelling at NBA players (short of Spike Lee doing so), which happened during the deciding shot. Apparently, Wall was unfazed by Don Self's prison trash talk.

Yeah, that was anticlimatic. Leave H-O-R-S-E dead and buried, with Kevin Durant the eternal linear champion.
