Paul George: (Leg) Is Targeting Mid-March Return

George (leg) is eyeing a mid-March return from his leg injury, Yahoo! Sports' Marc J. Spears reports.

Analysis:

March 14 against Boston would be the optimistic return date for George, which would allow him to play in up to 15 regular season games, assuming he sits in one half of the Pacers' three remaining back-to-back sets. Right now the Pacers are two games back of the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, but if they were to fall much further back, there is a chance Indiana might scrap this plan if it seems George's return would not be enough to push them into the postseason. In all leagues that run until the end of the season, George should now be picked up right away and stashed as he could be a huge piece down the stretch.
