VIDEO: Evan Turner sinks Hawks with game-winning floater

The Villain will soon have to change his nickname to The Closer.

Evan Turner was dabbling in late-game theatrics again on Wednesday, hitting a ridiculous floater over the entirety of the NBA's second-best team with 0.2 seconds to play.

Turner FTW

The bucket put Turner's Boston Celtics ahead of the Atlanta Hawks 89-88 and left them too little time to answer back, giving Boston a surprising marquee win heading into the All-Star break. The win also pushes Boston to 20-31, leaving them just a game-and-a-half out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

This isn't the first time Turner has played hero instead of villain. It's yet to be seen if he was as confident this time around as he was last time, a somewhat irrational confidence given he entered play Wednesday shooting 29.6 percent from the floor during the last five minutes of games within five points. Still, most people remember the game-winners - not the misses - and Turner now has two notable ones on his resume this year.

Turner finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and nine assists, continuing a somewhat low-key bounce-back season, albeit one that hasn't seen his offensive efficiency improve much, just his volume. In 51 games, Turner is averaging 8.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and a career-high 4.6 assists, often masquerading as a point guard for head coach Brad Stevens.

The loss drops the Hawks to 43-11, still atop the East but a hair shy of the Golden State Warriors for the league's best record at the break.
