Beal (toe) was diagnosed with a stress reaction in his lower right fibula and will be re-evaluated following the All-Star break, Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

Beal will miss his third straight game Wednesday as he continues to battle a sprained toe on his right foot, in addition to the stress reaction. While the severity of the injury is somewhat unknown at this point, Beal has a history of stress reactions in his right leg. He missed the last few weeks of the 2012-13 season, then aggravated the stress reaction in November of 2013, causing him to miss nearly a month. With this being the third recurrence of the issue, the Wizards will certainly exercise caution, though the team is yet to provide a return timeline. The All-Star break couldn't come at a better time for Washington, though it's quite possible Beal could remain out once the Wizards resume play.
