Wade says he's on target to return for 1st game after All-Star break

Dwyane Wade has opted to take the long view in regards to his lingering hamstring injury, pulling himself out of Wednesday's marquee matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers as well as this weekend's All-Star Game.

Wade reasoned that his responsibility is, first and foremost, to the Heat, and that the team will need him healthy in the second half in order to solidify its tenuous hold on an Eastern Conference playoff spot.

With the extended All-Star break ahead - and with Wade having already been out since Jan. 27 - he expects to return at 100 percent for the first game after the break, according to Bleacher Report's Ethan Skolnick

The Heat play the New York Knicks on Feb. 20.
