Rondo (face) did not travel with Mavericks on their two-game road trip for Wednesday's and Thursday's games against the Warriors and Kings, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Analysis:

Rondo suffered an orbital fracture to his left eye and a broken nose in last Saturday's game against the Magic. He will miss at least three games with this injury, and his earliest possible return date is Saturday against the Trail Blazers. J.J. Barea started Monday's game in place of Rondo. Barea has averaged 25 minutes per game through three starts this season. Devin Harris (ankle) should also receive substantial playing time while Rondo is out.
