Brandon Jennings is not a fan of LeBron James jumping teams

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

It's going to be a long six-to-nine months recovering from a torn Achilles for Brandon Jennings if he keeps engaging with fans in basketball debates on social media.

The Detroit Pistons guard, who infamously used Twitter to say that Kobe Bryant was better than Michael Jordan and that his Milwaukee Bucks would defeat the Miami Heat in six games in the 2013 playoffs, was at it again late Monday, debating fans about LeBron James.

Jennings' point is basically that while James is the greatest small forward in NBA history, his legacy will always be tainted some by bolting the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Heat and then jumping back.

After his mentions blew up, Jennings quickly moved the conversation along to hip-hop, later doubling back on Tuesday morning to try to put an end to the barrage of notifications coming his way.

As Jennings says, it's just his opinion and some fun fodder for debate, but by this point he has to know what the end result is going to be when he starts talking about all-time player greatness. It's never pretty.
