Report: Dwyane Wade expected to miss extended period

The initial tests on the Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade after leaving Tuesday's game with a hamstring injury indicate the star shooting guard could miss an extended period of time, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
Wade strained his right hamstring against the Milwaukee Bucks; a strained left hamstring kept him out of action for seven games in November.
The 33-year-old is averaging 21.4 points and 5.4 assists per game for the Heat, who have dealt with a barrage of injuries this season while trying to remain in the East playoff picture.
"The most disappointing thing is we're not even having a chance to be at full strength, to even see what we could do," the Heat's Chris Bosh told Winderman on Wednesday.
