1990 - Karl Malone drops 61 points

Karl Malone of the Utah Jazz scores a career-high 61 points in a 144-96 romp over the Milwaukee Bucks. Malone shoots 81 percent (21-for-26) in the game and adds 18 rebounds. Only Michael Jordan scores more points in the NBA than Malone that season.

1982 - Geoff Huston dishes out 27 assists

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Geoff Huston has 27 assists in a win over the Golden State Warriors. It stands as a record for helpers in a single game until being surpassed by John Stockton (twice) and Scott Skiles, who currently holds the record with 30.
