NBA Game Summary - Denver at LA Clippers

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jamal Crawford had 23 points off the bench and the Los Angeles Clippers rallied for a 102-98 win over the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.

Blake Griffin was a rebound shy of a triple double, posting 14 points, 10 assists and nine boards for the Clippers, who have won five straight games. Chris Paul added 15 points and eight helpers in the triumph.

LA trailed by eight going into the fourth.

Ty Lawson tallied 19 points and 11 assists, while Wilson Chandler provided 18 points and 10 boards for Denver, which has dropped seven consecutive games.

After Arron Afflalo tied the game with a jumper with 2:16 left, Matt Barnes gave the Clippers the lead with 1:24 remaining following a short jumper. Crawford was fouled from beyond the arc on LA's next trip up the floor and sunk all three shots with 49 ticks on the clock for a five-point cushion.

Chandler converted a floater and two Darrell Arthur free throws with 6.7 seconds to go clawed Denver within 99-98.

Crawford split a pair of foul shots at the other end, but rebounded his own miss on the second attempt. He then sunk two bonus shots to seal the outcome.

Chandler netted the first eight points of the game as Denver raced off to the early lead before taking a 31-20 advantage following a quarter of play.

Griffin slammed home a Paul alley-oop pass to cap an 18-4 second-quarter run for a 46-45 Clippers edge late in the first half. Griffin's dunk in the waning seconds of the second staked LA to a 50-47 cushion heading into the break.

Kenneth Faried split two free throws to finish off an 11-0 Denver surge midway through the third for a 62-56 Denver margin. The Nuggets were up 77-69 after three.
