VIDEO: There is no alley-oop pass Anthony Davis can't finish

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

It's no secret at this point that Anthony Davis is unfair.

The fact that the New Orleans Pelicans can employ such a ridiculous basketball talent seems too inequitable for the rest of the league to make up for. The talent gap between Davis and most everyone else has hardly been more glaring than it was on Monday, with Davis laying waste to the lowly Philadelphia 76ers early on.

Not only did Davis score 13 points in the first quarter alone, he also made it clear that no matter how well the 76ers may seal off a ball-handler on the baseline, that player can just throw the ball up anywhere and Davis will find a home for it.

To wit, here's Tyreke Evans lobbing one up that only Davis could finish:

Just throw it up & Anthony Davis will dunk it #Pelicans

Davis entered play Monday ranking third in the NBA with 95 dunks, 76 of them assisted. With finishes like these, the NBA may want to consider scoring assists for other Pelicans players differently than they do the rest of the league.

Or they could just outlaw assists to Davis altogether. Not that it would make a difference if he had to do it alone.

Anthony Davis is amazing
