Terrence Jones: Could Return "Within A Week"

Jones (leg) will not play Sunday against the Lakers, but coach Kevin McHale said that he'll be back on the court "within a week," the Houston Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Jones played in the first four games of the season but has been refined to the bench for the majority of the season with a serious leg injury. If he does in fact return in the near future, he'll likely play limited minutes as he eases his way back into the swing of things. Perhaps more importantly the addition of Josh Smith will likely stymie Jones' playing time for the rest of the season, even when fully healthy.
