Well, that's the 2015 free agency of one Millsap brother wrapped up.

Having impressed on a pair of 10-day contracts, Elijah Millsap has worked his way into the long-term plans of the Utah Jazz. The Jazz announced Sunday that they have signed Millsap to a multi-year contract, joining brother Paul Millsap as a full-time NBA player.

Generally with a player on the fringes like this, any additional time beyond this season will be a non-guaranteed amount at the league minimum, but it's always possible Millsap has ingratiated himself to the franchise enough to secure his 2015-16 future.

"We're glad that he's been able to impact the game and be able to help us," head coach Quin Snyder said Saturday. "I just want to keep seeing guys improve. If it works out where he's with us for the rest of the season, I'd like to see that happen."

In 10 games with the Jazz, Millsap has averaged 5.7 points and 2.2 rebounds in 20.4 minutes, shooting a woeful 26.5 percent inside the 3-point arc but a robust 41.7 percent from beyond it.

Undrafted out of UAB in 2010, Millsap has appeared in four Summer League tournaments, two NBA preseasons, five D-League seasons and had stops in the Philippines and Israel before finally landing an NBA gig.
