LaMarcus Aldridge: (Thumb) No Surgery, Will Play Saturday
Aldridge (thumb) has decided to put off having surgery and will play in Saturday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis:
Aldridge suffered a torn ligament in his left thumb against the Kings on Monday but will apparently try to play through the pain. It's still somewhat unclear how effective he can be with this type of injury on his non-shooting hand and he'll likely need surgery at some later point this year. Even so, Sunday's game will be crucial in determining his value for the immediate and long-term future.
