Hawks, Warriors 1st-ever teams with matching 15-game win streaks before All-Star break
Despite frequently being touted for its wide-open field and air of unpredictability, this NBA season is fast becoming a tale of two teams.
For the once-beleaguered fans of the long-suffering Atlanta Hawks and Golden State Warriors, it's been a glorious, surreal karmic trip. The two teams sit atop their respective conferences, and seem to distance themselves from the field a bit more every day.
The Hawks set a franchise record with their 15th consecutive win Friday, a streak that also ties them with the Warriors for the longest such run this season.
And with matching 15-game win streaks before the All-Star break, the two teams have made a little history together.
