VIDEO: Ersan Ilyasova denies Gordon Hayward at the rim

Utah Jazz swingman Gordon Hayward tried his luck against Milwaukee Bucks power forward Ersan Ilyasova on a fast break Thursday.

Hayward's reasoning was solid, as Ilyasova is no one's idea of a rim protector. He is averaging just 0.2 blocks per game this season and has never even topped a single block per game in his career.

Despite the odds being in his favor, Hayward fell victim to surprisingly stingy defense.
