Nuggets' Faried questionable Friday vs. Celtics with illness

Kenneth Faried's up-and-down season continues, with the Denver Nuggets power forward questionable for Friday's game against the Boston Celtics due to the flu.

Faried, who poured in 26 points and 14 rebounds in a loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday, is averaging 11.9 points, nine rebounds and 1.3 assists on 51.5 percent shooting.

The 25-year-old signed a four-year, $50-million extension in October, but has regressed since his strong finish to last season and has yet to find the consistency that has bewildered him in his four-year career.
