NBA Game Summary - Houston at Golden State

Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Klay Thompson scored 27 points with five assists to help the Golden State Warriors in a 126-113 win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.

Stephen Curry supplied 22 points with 10 assists and Draymond Green notched 18 points in the win.

Golden State, which captured a four-game season sweep of the Rockets for the first time since 1973-74, set a franchise record with its 17th straight home victory.

"Our goal going into the season was to protect home court," Curry said. "It means a lot to be consistent every night."

The Warriors won 16 in a row at home over two seasons in 1950 and 1959 when the franchise was in Philadelphia.

James Harden went for a game-high 33 points in the loss, while Corey Brewer and Jason Terry posted 20 and 14 points off the bench, respectively.

"They bullied us tonight," said Harden.

Harrison Barnes' 3-pointer with over five minutes to go in the first quarter gave the Warriors a 26-16 lead.

Houston ended the final 3:20 of the quarter on an 11-2 to cut its deficit to 32-29.

Josh Smith knocked down a 3-pointer to tie the game early in the second, but the Rockets scored just six points over the final nine-plus minutes of the half and Golden State took advantage.

From that point, the Warriors opened up a large halftime lead courtesy of a 26-6 run. Thompson scored the final six points of the quarter to help the hosts to a 62-42 lead at the break.

Green's 3 with 5 1/2 minutes to play in the third stretched the lead to a game-high 30 before the Rockets ended up trimming the deficit to as little as nine late in the fourth.
