VIDEO: Chinese dunk contest participant fails miserably

China Daily / REUTERS

China's Chinese Basketball Association has attracted a number of former NBA stars over the years, including Stephon Marbury, Tracy McGrady, Gilbert Arenas and Steve Francis, while also once employing guys like J.R. Smith, Wilson Chandler and Aaron Brooks, and helping launch the career of Yao Ming.

Recently, Michael Beasley stole the show at the CBA All-Star Game, taking home MVP honors thanks to a 59-point outburst.

In other words, the league has at least some credibility.

Unfortunately, some of that may fade as highlights from this year's dunk contest emerge ...

So, the Chinese Basketball Association dunk contest is going really well.

This poor soul was never even close.
