Kobe Bryant: (Rest) Will Sit Out Monday

Bryant (rest) will be held out of Monday's game against the Suns, Mike Bresnahan of the LA Times reports.

Analysis:

Bryant will rest for the second straight game and the eighth time in 15 games overall. Over his last two contests, versus the Heat (Tuesday) and Cavaliers (Thursday), Bryant averaged 15.5 points, 12.0 assists and 6.0 rebounds, but he was a combined 10-of-33 from the field. In his absence, Wayne Ellington figures to make another start at shooting guard.
