Anthony (knee) expects to play in Monday's game against the Pelicans, Newsday reports.
Analysis:
Anthony will eventually require surgery on his bothersome left knee, but it appears that his regular meetings with the training staff will allow him to remain a lineup regular for at least a little while longer. In any event, with the Knicks riding a 16-game losing streak and clearly not contending this season, expect the franchise to make Anthony's long-term health the utmost priority. It still seems likely that he'll be shut down for good at some point in the second half.
