Rudy Gay: (Knee) Doubtful For Friday

Gay (knee) has been downgraded to doubtful for Friday's game against the Heat, James Ham of Cowbell Kingdom reports.

Analysis:

Gay underwent an MRI and was diagnosed with a left knee sprain, after exiting Tuesday's game in the first quarter. He's now unlikely to suit up Friday, which leaves him no better than questionable for Saturday's game against the Clippers. Derrick Williams is the obvious beneficiary in terms of minutes, and with Carl Landry (wrist) questionable, Williams may be in for a very busy night.
