Mavs to rest Nowitzki and Chandler Wednesday

On night two of a back-to-back, the Dallas Mavericks have elected to rest two-thirds of their starting frontcourt in Dirk Nowitzki and Tyson Chandler on Wednesday in the thin air of Denver against the Nuggets.
The Mavs were taken to overtime by the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night, so resting the 36-year-old Nowitzki and 32-year-old Chandler makes sense.
Chandler tweaked his ankle on the play the Kings' DeMarcus Cousins fouled out on Tuesday, but says it's fine.
Tyson Chandler says he feels "banged up," but he woke up with his left ankle feeling better than he expected. Adds he wants to be out there.
