Rajon Rondo: (Achilles) Out Wednesday Night

Rondo (Achilles) will not play Wednesday against the Nuggets.

Analysis:

Rondo will rest alongside Tyson Chandler and Dirk Nowitzki in the Wednesday evening tilt. Devin Harris and J.J. Barea should see increased ball-handling duty in the meantime, at least until Rondo is at or near full strength. Per Dwain Price of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Rondo has been experiencing soreness for an extended period of time, and the Mavericks are currently without a clear timetable for return.
