VIDEO: Nurkic hits jumper in Cousins' eye, mocks him down the court

With Timofey Mozgov shipped off to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the NBA is going to be seeing a lot more of Denver Nuggets rookie Jusuf Nurkic.

They're not going to like it.

The brash 6-foot-11 Bosnian continued his introductory tour Friday, making a second notable frontcourt enemy in the process. A week after emotively mocking Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol, Nurkic took aim at another potential All-Star, Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins.

Let's just say Nurkic doesn't lack for confidence - in his jump shot, or in his ability to hang with some of the league's most intimidating big men. On Friday, he canned a long jumper in Cousins' face and proceeded to let him know about it all the way down the floor.

Jusuf Nurkic gives DeMarcus Cousins a smirk after he hits the shot and falls over. ???

Nurkic hasn't proven enough yet to warrant this type of arrogance, but he could be on his way. The 20-year-old is averaging 6.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in just 14.1 minutes. Over his past six games, he's averaged 12.5 points and 7.7 rebounds in 22.8 minutes, and on the season he ranks 11th in total rebound percentage among all players with at least 300 minutes played.

The Nuggets appear to have something in the No. 16 overall pick. Just ask him.
