One former All-Star center returned in Wednesday's game between the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers, and another was lost.
On the same night Andrew Bogut returned to the Warriors' lineup following a 12-game absence due to a right knee injury, Pacers center Roy Hibbert left the game midway through the first quarter with a left ankle sprain.
The team later announced that he would not return.
Hibbert appeared to injure himself going for a rebound, and he limped to the locker room with help from a teammate and trainer.
Hibbert missed four games in November with a sprain to the same ankle.
