Wesley Johnson: (Hip) Out Monday, Along With Bryant
Johnson suffered a strained right hip flexor during Sunday's game against the Pacers, and he will not travel to Portland for Monday's matchup with the Trail Blazers, Janis Carr of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis:
Johnson, who has started every game this season, did not come out of the locker room after halftime. With Kobe Bryant scheduled to miss Monday's game for maintenance, the Lakers will likely require major minutes from both Wayne Ellington and Nick Young, with point guards Jeremy Lin and Ronnie Price also candidates to see added playing time.
