Amar'e Stoudemire (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Milwaukee.

Stoudemire (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Milwaukee and will not travel with the team on its upcoming roadtrip.

Analysis:

Stoudemire will miss his fifth straight game with soreness in his surgically repaired left knee. The team hasn't provided much in the way of a return timetable, though with Stoudemire slated to remain home during the road swing, he'll miss at least two more contests. New York plays at Memphis on Monday and in Washington on Wednesday, so the earliest he could return is Thursday against Houston.. Cole Aldrich and Quincy Acy will start in the frontcourt Sunday, and the pair, as well as Jason Smith, should continue to see increased time.
