Al Jefferson: (Groin) Out At Least Four Weeks

Jefferson (groin) will miss a minimum of four weeks, the Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell reports.

Analysis:

His status was up in the air, but this is about as bad of a prognosis as his owners could have expected. In his absence, Cody Zeller will be asked to really step into a major role for the first time in his career. Bismack Biyombo will also see increased run off the bench, and it would seem possible that the Hornets opt to go with a small lineup starting Marvin Williams at power forward for the time being.
