LaMarcus Aldridge: (Illness) Questionable for Tuesday

Aldridge (illness) fit in a "light" practice Monday but remains questionable for Tuesday's game against the Raptors, the Blazers' official site reports. "I feel better," he said. "Did some little drills today, went up and down a little bit to try to open my lungs up a little bit. But I'm better."

Analysis:

An upper respiratory illness has forced DNPs in three of the past four games, and another absence is entirely possible, as Aldridge's statements to the media sounded "congested." Coach Terry Stotts mentioned that a decision regarding active status will be made a few hours before Tuesday's 10 PM ET tipoff, which could be imperative information for daily pursuits if the Blazers make an announcement prior to the tip of the evening's slate. Because Stotts has spread frontcourt minutes to all available options, though, Chris Kaman is the sole consistent consideration in the event Aldridge takes a seat.
