Hawes remains out for Clippers Saturday

Los Angeles Clippers backup center Spencer Hawes will sit his ninth straight game Saturday against the Toronto Raptors, and it's not from a burned retina from that suit he rocked on Christmas Day.

Hawes is still bothered by a knee injury he suffered Dec. 12 against the Washington Wizards. Prior to the injury, which was first described as a bruise, he was averaging 6.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 17 minutes per game.
