Mavericks' Nowitzki will suit up Friday

Dirk Nowitzki must have one hell of an immune system.
Despite reportedly suffering from a stomach illness earlier in the day, Nowitzki will play Friday night when the Dallas Mavericks take on the Los Angeles Lakers, according to head coach Rick Carlisle.
The Lakers will be playing without Kobe Bryant, but as they showed in a shocking win over the NBA-best Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, the Lakers without Kobe can be a fearsome bunch.
The Mavs will look to get back on track Friday, having lost two games in a row and five of 10 after a 15-5 start to the season.
