PHOTO: Hawes remains out Thursday, makes up for it with Christmas outfit

There was no holiday magic performed on Spencer Hawes' ailing left knee.

The Los Angeles Clippers power forward will remain sidelined Thursday when the team takes on the Golden State Warriors, the eighth consecutive game he'll miss with the knee bruise. Hawes was never really expected to play Thursday, with his practice participation earlier in the week done with an eye toward a potential Saturday return.

That will leave the Clippers a little thin in the frontcourt and mean more minutes for Glen Davis and the starters. Luckily for the Clippers, the Warriors will play with a thin frontcourt themselves Saturday.

In 22 games before the injury, Hawes was yet to really find his footing on his new squad. He was averaging 6.3 points and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 42 percent from the floor, with each of those statistics representing his worst since his 2007-08 rookie season.

Hawes is trying his best to make up for it, at least, entertaining us all with the most ridiculous outfit you'll see this Christmas.

So, there's that.
