Brook Lopez: (Back) May Not Play Tuesday

Updating a previous report, Lopez (back) may in fact not play Tuesday, and he definitely won't start, the New York Post's Tim Bontemps reports.

Analysis:

Less than an hour after it was announced that Lopez would return to action Tuesday, it was announced that he may in fact not get in the game. He will be "available" but clearly is a bit too risky to deploy in most formats. Coach Lionel Hollins cited Lopez missing the last eight games and being unsure how effective his starter center would be if he played Tuesday. Mason Plumlee should remain in the starting lineup for now.
