Rockets' Brewer, Shved available to play Monday vs. Trail Blazers

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

While the Portland Trail Blazers are succumbing to injuries, the Houston Rockets are finally at full strength for their showdown on Monday.

Newly acquired swingmen Corey Brewer and Alexey Shved will both be available to play for the Rockets on Monday, reports Mark Berman of Fox 26.

Brewer and Shved were acquired in a three-team deal over the weekend. Neither player suited up for Houston's loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.

Shved, who came by way of the Philadelphia 76ers, is averaging 9.9 points and 2.7 assists per game. Brewer, formerly of the Minnesota Timberwolves, is averaging 10.5 points and a league-leading 2.3 steals per game. Both players figure to find play time in the Rockets' rotation, though neither projects as a starter.
