Cavs play as protest takes place outside arena

CLEVELAND (AP) Several dozen peaceful protesters gathered outside Quicken Loans Arena during Sunday's Cavaliers-Grizzlies game trying to raise awareness about police shootings nationwide.

The protesters, carrying signs that said: ''Don't Let Cops Get Away With Murder'' and ''No Justice, No Peace'' stood at the bottom of steps leading into the building, where a crowd of more than 20,000 watched the NBA game.

There was a line of more than 30 uniformed Cleveland police officers protecting the entrance.

The protesters initially met in Public Square before walking to the arena.
